Revision Protocol & Quality Assurance

Content rejections happen — even to experienced creators. What matters is how quickly and effectively you respond. This guide covers the rejection notification process, the revision workflow, a pre-posting QA checklist, and how rejections impact your reputation score.

Rejection Notification

When your content is rejected during review, you will be notified through two channels simultaneously:

  1. Email notification — Sent to your registered email with the rejection reason and campaign name.
  2. Dashboard alert — A notification badge appears on your Creator Dashboard with detailed rejection feedback.

The rejection notice includes the specific reason for rejection, which maps to one of the common rejection categories below. Review this reason carefully before making changes.

Revision Process

Automatic Retracking
Bounty_OS uses automated collection systems to track posts from your linked accounts. When you fix an issue and repost, the system picks up the new post automatically during the next collection cycle (runs every 3 hours). You do not need to manually resubmit.
  1. Read the rejection reason carefully in your dashboard notification.
  2. Identify the specific issue — compare your post against the creative brief.
  3. Fix the issue — edit the content, re-export with an incremented version number (see file-naming).
  4. Delete or archive the rejected post from your social platform if it contained errors.
  5. Repost the corrected content to the correct platform with all required elements.
  6. Wait for automatic tracking — The system will detect the new post within the next collection cycle (up to 3 hours).
  7. Monitor your dashboard — the new post will appear and enter the review queue.

QA Checklist Before Posting

Run through this checklist every time before publishing content for a Bounty_OS campaign:

  • FTC disclosure — #ad or #sponsored is visible in caption (first 3 lines, not buried)
  • Creative brief compliance — Content matches all mandatory requirements from the Guidelines tab
  • Required hashtags — All campaign hashtags present and correctly spelled
  • Brand @mention — Brand account tagged in caption and/or video as specified
  • Audio quality — Clear voiceover/dialogue, no background noise or distortion
  • Video quality — 1080p minimum, stable footage, proper lighting, correct aspect ratio
  • Correct platform — Posting to the platform specified in the campaign brief
  • Content type match — Original or Repurposed matches what the campaign requires
  • Post visibility — Account is public and post is not set to private or friends-only
  • Account linked — Your social account is connected to Bounty_OS in your platform connections

Impact on Reputation Score

Reputation Penalty
Each content rejection significantly reduces your creator reputation score. Your reputation score affects your sampling rate (how often your posts are selected for manual review), your visibility in campaign recommendations, and your overall standing on the platform. Consistent rejections can significantly limit your earning potential.

Conversely, approved content and consistent quality increase your reputation, leading to fewer manual reviews (auto-approval) and better campaign access. Protect your score by using the QA checklist above.

When to Contact Support

  • Unclear rejection reason — If the rejection notice is vague or does not specify what went wrong, contact support for clarification before making changes.
  • Dispute an unfair rejection — If you believe your content fully met the brief requirements and was rejected in error, file a dispute through the dashboard. Include screenshots of your post and the relevant brief sections.
  • Technical issues — If your reposted content is not being picked up by the tracking system after 6+ hours, contact support to trigger a manual collection.
