Payout Calculation
Bounty_OS pays creators based on verified views across their campaign content. Earnings are calculated per 1,000,000 views at rates set by the brand when creating the campaign.
The Formula
Earnings = (Verified Views / 1,000,000) × Rate per 1M ViewsEach campaign has two independent content types with separate rates:

| Original | New content created specifically for the campaign | $2,500+ per 1M views |
| Repurposed | Existing content adapted to feature the brand | $1,000+ per 1M views |
When Payouts Are Calculated
- Payouts are calculated at campaign finalization, not in real-time.
- Finalization is triggered when all content type view targets are met or the campaign is manually completed by an admin.
- A finalization check runs automatically every 30 minutes.
Finalization Flow
- Campaign completion detected (targets met or admin trigger)
- Final metrics collected from all tracked posts
- Earnings calculated per creator per content type
- Earnings credited to creator balance
- Creators can withdraw via Stripe Connect
Balances
All amounts displayed in the app are shown in dollars. Your balance updates automatically after campaign finalization.
Example Calculation
Campaign rate: $3,000 per 1M views (original content)
Creator's verified views: 450,000
Earnings = (450,000 / 1,000,000) × $3,000 = $1,350.00Surplus Refunds
If a campaign's total payouts are less than the escrowed budget, the remaining funds are refunded to the brand automatically.
