Payout Calculation

Bounty_OS pays creators based on verified views across their campaign content. Earnings are calculated per 1,000,000 views at rates set by the brand when creating the campaign.

The Formula

Earnings = (Verified Views / 1,000,000) × Rate per 1M Views

Each campaign has two independent content types with separate rates:

Content Type	Description	Minimum Rate
Original	New content created specifically for the campaign	$2,500+ per 1M views
Repurposed	Existing content adapted to feature the brand	$1,000+ per 1M views

When Payouts Are Calculated

Payouts are calculated at campaign finalization, not in real-time.
Finalization is triggered when all content type view targets are met or the campaign is manually completed by an admin.
A finalization check runs automatically every 30 minutes.

Finalization Flow

Campaign completion detected (targets met or admin trigger)
Final metrics collected from all tracked posts
Earnings calculated per creator per content type
Earnings credited to creator balance
Creators can withdraw via Stripe Connect

Balances

All amounts displayed in the app are shown in dollars. Your balance updates automatically after campaign finalization.

Example Calculation

Campaign rate: $3,000 per 1M views (original content)
Creator's verified views: 450,000

Earnings = (450,000 / 1,000,000) × $3,000 = $1,350.00

Surplus Refunds

If a campaign's total payouts are less than the escrowed budget, the remaining funds are refunded to the brand automatically.
