Bounty_OS supports two content delivery workflows: the standard automatic tracking flow (used by most campaigns) and the pre-approval flow (where brands review content before you post publicly). Understanding which flow applies to your campaign is essential for getting paid.
Standard Flow: Automatic Tracking
The majority of campaigns on Bounty_OS use automatic post tracking. Here is how it works:
Create your content following the campaign creative brief.
Post directly to your social platform (TikTok, Instagram) with all required hashtags, @mentions, and FTC disclosure.
Your post is automatically detected during the next collection cycle (runs every 3 hours from linked accounts).
The post appears in your dashboard under the active campaign with initial metrics.
Metrics are tracked automatically using the 3-tier system: Tier 1 (every 30 min for new/viral posts), Tier 2 (every 6 hours), Tier 3 (every 24 hours).
Earnings accumulate based on verified views and the campaign's payout rate per 1M views.
Requirements for Automatic Tracking
For the system to detect your posts: your social account must be linked in Platform Connections, your profile must be public (not private or restricted), and your post must include the campaign-specific hashtags so the system can match it to the correct campaign.
Pre-Approval Flow
Some campaigns — particularly those with strict brand guidelines, regulated industries, or high budgets — require brand approval before you post publicly. The campaign brief will clearly indicate if pre-approval is required.
Create your content following the campaign brief (do NOT post publicly yet).
Submit your draft for brand review through the designated channel (see File Transfer below).
Brand reviews your submission — expect a response within 48-72 hours.
Receive approval or revision request — if revisions are needed, the brand will provide specific feedback.
After approval, post to your social platform with all required elements (hashtags, mentions, disclosure).
Automatic tracking begins — The system picks up the published post and metrics tracking starts.
Do NOT post before receiving explicit approval — posting unapproved content may result in rejection and will not be tracked for earnings.
File Transfer for Pre-Approval
When submitting content for pre-approval, use one of these methods to share your draft files with the brand:
Service
Max File Size
Best For
Google Drive
5 TB (with plan)
Ongoing campaigns with multiple revisions — share a folder
Dropbox
2 GB free / 2 TB paid
Quick one-off file shares with download links
WeTransfer

Single file transfers without account setup
Campaign messaging

Small files and screenshots for quick feedback
Folder Sharing
For campaigns requiring multiple rounds of review, create a shared Google Drive or Dropbox folder with the brand. Use the file naming convention (see file-naming) so both parties can easily track versions and revisions.

After Posting: Verification Checklist
Once your content is live (either after pre-approval or via standard flow), verify the following to ensure tracking works correctly:
Post is set to Public — Private, friends-only, or restricted posts cannot be detected by the automated collection system.
Social account is linked — Confirm your account appears in Dashboard > Platform Connections with a "Connected" status.
Campaign hashtags are present — All required hashtags from the brief appear in your caption, spelled exactly as specified.
FTC disclosure is included — #ad or #sponsored is visible in the post caption.
Brand is mentioned — The brand's official account is tagged as required by the brief.
Correct platform — You posted to the platform specified in the campaign deliverables.
Post Detection Timing
After posting, it can take up to 3 hours for the system to detect your new post during the next collection cycle. If your post does not appear in your dashboard after 6 hours, verify the checklist above and contact support if the issue persists.
